Day 5 [27th June]: First Day of School + Dinner

Alright so today was finally the first day of lessons and my class was korean arts and crafts from 4-6pm.
Woke up to have lunch with my friend. The first day was okay because I didn’t really have any expectations of the food.  It was only 3,000W for this huge spread.

After lunch, I went back to stone around for a while then went down to meet the people and walked to our class together. Well, we kind of got lost  and we were late for class and when we arrived, the whole class was empty.

Well we actually had to pay 40,000W for all our equipment and materials.. (Just for the ceramics class) Oriental painting blows up another 70k.

So below is my final product after 2 hours of class.  We were trying to make a cup!

S0 after the class, we had to walk the long and torturous path back to our dorms. However, the view is really nice from the top. (Now that it’s week 3 as i’m typing this entry, i think i have gotten use to the slopes somehow)

 

It’s raining! you can see from my pokka dot umbrella which is gone as I type.

After reaching back to dorms, we went to SNU station in hope of trying to get a prepaid sim card to use for the phones but after asking around, seems like you have to go to those bigger outlets of  mobile or olleh in order to get your sim card. Nevertheless, we had dinner at this basement shop.
Although the service was good, ajummoni was kind to us and everything,  the food really tasted bland. argh. The kimchi was the nicest food out of everything we ate.

After that, we walked around the area and I saw family mart again and that 2pm advertisment.  And i decided to buy something in order to load more chances of winning in the family mart card.

HOWEVER, after reaching home and analyzing the website, i couldn’t register because I do not have an alien number. BLAH, but guess what, i was joking around with my friend that we could actually asked them for the poster since it is useless to them anyway and she did not display it, and my friend took my joke seriously and asked the cashier for the poster.

At first she said that it was the only one, but 2 seconds later she started rolling up the poster for me. WHAHAHA. and it’s hanging in my room now.

My roomie must have freaked out when she came home the next day. LOL. oh wells =D =D =D
