  • I literally just left Quebec City. I am going back to Toronto with a happy heart. Thanks for the helpful info about and visuals of the filming locations. The red door was a tricky one since there’s tons of red doors in Petit Champlain. Your photo was my compass for real. Million thanks!

    • Thanks for leaving a comment and I’m glad that my post has helped you with finding the exact red door. hope you had a great trip to Quebec =)

  • YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF ALL YOUR WORK. I LOVE QUEBEC CITY and felt certain that the first scene that Gong Yoo “Goblin” appears in was in that city but the street name didn’t ring a bell. Thanks for clarifying and helping me find an answer to my query.

I’m new-ish to the K-Drama scene. One of the best things about catching the wave this late is I get to see some of the best work. I’m really loving Goblin. K-dramas can be extreme at times which is not a negative criticism. I really liked this drama because, for me, it was a wonderful balance of drama, romance, action, supernatural, folklore, morale lessons, over the top situations, and so much more. The comedic timing of all the actors was really great fun. But add that to the serious dramatic scenes and it is a wonderfully packaged work of art.

As I said I’m moderately new to the K-drama scenes so there may be other dramas out there that are superior but I am really liked this one.
YOU HAVE ADDED GREATLY TO MY ENJOYMENT OF THIS DRAMA. BY QUENCHING MY CURIOSITY ABOUT WHERE THIS DRAMA WAS FILMED. NOW I CAN EXPLORE OTHER ASPECT OF THE DRAMA THAT SPARKED MY CURIOSITY.
    THANK YOU
    JCB

    • Thanks for your kind compliments! Congrats on catching up on this awesome drama! Though you’re one year late but.. it’s better than never! I’m currently chasing another drama called Hwayugi and I think it’s gonna be awesome too! Then again, no one can beat the charismatic Gong Yoo.. not yet 😉

  • Thank you so much for making this post! Just came back from my trip and was able to find most of the spots. Am a huge fan of the show and you made my fangirl heart very happy 🙂 !!

  • Omg thank you for providing this!! I love Goblin and was planning to take a trip to Quebec – this is just perfect! Adding all of this to my itinerary haha. Thank you!

  • Thank you very much. I live in BC and I’ve been as far east as Ontario, New York, and Vermont but didn’t get the chance to visit Quebec yet. My ex-husband who I used to travel these destinations with when we were engaged at the time told me that Quebec City is boring and just focus in Montreal (as he has visited the province in his youth) but after finishing watching Goblin two days ago, I want to visit the capital and enjoy the charm it brings. Being born and raised in Victoria, I prefer cozier surroundings.

Thank you for the tips. When this depressing pandemic dies down and distant traveling is safe again, I definitely want to venture east and enjoy every filming sites from the series.

    • Hey there. Thanks for leaving a comment! Glad that you discovered this drama even though it had been 4 years. Hope that you enjoyed the drama 🙂 I’ve not been to Canada before but I’ll definitely love to visit someday. How can Quebec be considered boring? It really looked pretty impressive, at least in photos/videos. Yea, can’t wait for the pandemic to be over. It’s so annoying and I’ve stopped thinking about any travel plans as I don’t want to be disappointed anymore 🙁

  • Thank you so much for your blog. I’ve been meaning to plan a trip and visit all these locations. Now that I’m rewatching Goblin again there’s renewed motivation to go. I wonder what time they filmed there with the beautiful fall leaves? I would love to see the same sights. The red maple leaves in the park are so pretty.

    • Hey I’m not too certain about when they filmed the series but I suppose autumn should be some time in November. Just my guess!

  • I just want to say thank you so so much I really want to go to Canada now and with this guide it’s going to be a perfect trip because I just finished watching Goblin and husband just mentioned Westjet because we like the Christmas surprises and I want to go on December

    • Glad that you found my blog post! Hope you get to visit Quebec in December. It has been many years and I hope the locations still remain intact. I’m pretty sure it would be a very nice and cold trip =)

  • I am visiting soon and I really wanted to visit all places. Thanks a lot for the locations! I’ve been looking around for a while 🥲

  • Hi, I just have a a quick question would 6-7 hours in Quebec would we be able to hit up all these spots and look around at other places? Could we do it by walking or does it have to be done by car?

  • Thank you so much. My friend and I are looking forward to our fall vacation in Quebec City and to finding these Goblin scene locations. You’ve done a fabulous job of researching/scout and adding interesting fine details in your blog! A million thanks🫶🏾

    • Hi Alicia, glad that you found this post useful! I really hope that the locations are still around since Goblin has been a drama from years ago~~ wishing you all the best and safe travels for your vacation! I’m sure you’ll enjoy Quebec just like many others!
